When working on design projects, I always find one of the biggest challenges is the last stage. By then, the big decisions have been made, the main pieces have been delivered, the clients are tired, and most unfortunately, the budgets are almost dried up. But as the designer, the small pieces I add at the end are a critical part of defining the project’s vision and individuality. Given the state of the economy, the budgets for these unpurchased accent tables, accessories, pillows, and decorative lighting, will be trimmed even more. So, I pulled together some tables I found on Decorati by using the Sort By Price filter in the search box on every category page. I think these are great options for a reduced budget. What do you think?
One of my favorites, the Bowtie Table by Altura, retail starts at about $1375. I have selected this table a couple of times for clients. The variety in woods and veneer designs keep it fresh. After months of buying pieces $6,000 and up, this little treasure will seems like great value.
